Rotary Club of Calcutta Majestic, organised a WALK to observe the WORLD HEART DAY. The WALK was flagged off by DGE Rtn. Rajani Mukerji & Ex National Selector Sri Raja Venkat at HARISH PARK at 4 PM and ended at ROTARY SADAN at 4.45 PM. More than 65 Children from Arsha Vidya Nidhi along with 100 + Rotarians & Guests joined the WALK. Everyone was having posters and festoons and was spreading the awareness for prevention of heart disease as they walked through Ashutosh Mukherjee Road. 

A Seminar on AWARENESS FOR PREVENTION OF HEART DISEASE was also orginised at Rotary Sadan at 5PM.  DG Rtn. Uttam Ganguli, DS (A) Rtn. Mukul Sinha and Ex National Selector Sri Raja Venkat were among the dignitaries present. Rtn. Dr. Suvro Banerjee, eminent Heart specialist & Dr. Sanjay Chatterjee conducted the Q/A session.The entire programme  was covered by both electronic media and print media and was telecast in Doordarshan and other leading Bengali news channels the same day.
