Medical Camp- Doctors Day
Doctors day was celebrated on the 1st day of Rotary year we organised a health check up camp at SANTI NIBAS, an old age home in Behala. From 8 am in the morning Rotarians of Calcutta Majestic along with Dr Sanjay Misra and Dr Raju Sribastav spend the entire morning with senior citizens deprived from love and affection from their children. Medical camp for General health and eye check up was done and medicines was distributed to all those who needed. Breakfast was arranged for all the beneficiaries.
World Heart Day
Rotary Club of Calcutta Majestic, organised a WALK to observe the WORLD HEART DAY. The WALK was flagged off by DGE Rtn. Rajani Mukerji & Ex National Selector Sri Raja Venkat at HARISH PARK at 4 PM and ended at ROTARY SADAN at 4.45 PM. More than 65 Children from Arsha Vidya Nidhi along with 100 + Rotarians & Guests joined the WALK. Everyone was having posters and festoons and was spreading the awareness for prevention of heart disease as they walked through Ashutosh Mukherjee Road.
Environmental Awareness
It is high time for our students to get aware to save our environment before being too late. A fun filled environmental awareness programme was organized at NICCO PARK which was named “FUN GO GREEN”. It was a megha event for 4 full days where more than 1500 students participated from renowned schools and colleges like St Josheps / St Thomas / Juien De / MCKV / Gokhale Memorial / Chowringhee High / Park English School etc.

Rotary Club of Calcutta Majestic in Technical collaboration with TEEVEETRONICS POLYTECHNIC PVT. LTD. - a leading Computer & Vocational Training Institute offers Basic Computer Training for all 5000 + nos. ANANT SCHOLARSHIP holders without any charges. Anant Foundation – an initiative of Infinity Group, Kolkata have provided 5250 school children with the scholarship @ Rs. 6000/- (Rupees Six Thousand only) per student along with soft skills and Basic Computer Training.
